Drawing Resources

Open Studio Sessions

The Open Drawing Sessions are special open studio hours with a mentor in the studio to provide one on one feedback. Open Studio Sessions are available to all first year students to support their drawing practice outside of class time. Students who need extra drawing support are encouraged to attend Open Studio Sessions throughout the semester.

With several sessions provided each semester, students receive individual feedback on class assignments, tutorials on a specific drawing topic, or practice drawing from a still life as they work within a community of students in the studio.

Sessions are held on select Fridays through out both the Fall and Spring semester. Specific dates are emailed to all first year students. Students should plan to bring their own drawing materials to the Open Studio Sessions.
