Learning to use the equipment

Your teacher and/or your TA and/or will show you the basics of the equipment as needed in class. We have manuals available in the cage and for download from this web site if you want to investigate the more advanced features of a particular piece of equipment.

Equipment in Labs and Printing Lounge

In addition to Macintosh workstations and printers, you will find the following in the Visual Language Labs and Printing Lounge area:

Epson 4490 Photo Scanners. Note: if you want to scan items larger than the surface of this scanner, you can easily remove the top and then scan it in parts. If you want to scan transparencies, you can check out the transparency adapters from the cage.

Rotary Paper Cutters

Cutting Mats (please store these flat on a table, not on their side)
